Pregnancy Ultrasound Showing Sac Formation. Dark Brown Discharge. Implantation Bleeding?

I'm 5 weeks 5 days pregnant. Ultra sound showed that sac has formed properly though there is no foetus pole yet. There is no internal haemorage But I'm getting dark brown discharge every day(few drops). This ia apart from the implanatation bleeding which i had had. Is frequent brown discharge normal? My doctor is not able to give a reason for this brown discharge but advised to rest for 10 days. I'm scared! Please help me!

Hi,
Thanks for your query.
You are 5weeks pregnant and your ultrasonography shows only sac no fetal pole this is worrisome, but in my opinion you should wait for another 1week and do repeat ultrasonography.
Brown discharge not common in pregnancy but it may occur due to progesterone deficiency in pregnancy.
You should consult a gynecologist immediately for your problem.
GOOD LUCK.
Take care.
