Pregnant. Diagnosed With Hypertension And Found FSGS In Kidney. Is This Curable?

Sir, I am 30 year old and pregnant (32nd weeks is running as on 22 jan 2013).This is my first pregnancy before this no abortion ,my periods were regular and as per the schedule.I diagnosed with hyper tension in 4th month of my pregnancy and we checked up with doctor and they identify FSGS in my right kidney through biopsy . Can you please tell me that it is curable///

Hi, welcome to HCM.
FSGS ( focal segmental glomerulosclerosis )during pregnancy may be associated with pregnancy. Is a treatable condition and can be cured. It may regress after pregnancy.
You just continue with pregnancy and medications advised by your doctors. Have regular follow up for best outcome.
