Pregnant. Echo Shows Mild Mitral Valves Regurgitation. Is There Any Pregnancy Complications?
my wife is pregnant (third trimester) , echo show she suffer from mild mitral valves regurgitation , threre is no other complaining except mild palpitation ( heart beat 87-100), is there any relation with pregnancy as an transiet state ?

in pregnancy there will be increased blood volume and heart rate also increases,
so because of these things the women can have some cardiovascular symptoms like palpitations, missed beats etc these are considered normal in pregnancy and also mild degree of mitral regurgitation can also be seen in some women in later weeks of pregnancy like in your wife, these will subside after delivery, better to check once after delivery.
