I m also feeling same when just sitting still ie watching tv. Feels like I can t get enough air Into my lungs?? Should I seek medical advice or is It likey just diaphragm being squished with growth of baby do you think? Thanks, I don t want to appear to be a hypochondriac but I have so much going on health wise..
You must seek medical advice.
There is no doubt about it.
Don't bother that you may appear hypochondriac. It is your health and your baby. Nobody has a right to interfere with it. With several problems you have enumerated, You SHOULD SEE YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE...Both a Physician and Obstetrician should see. Better be safe than sorry - treated if a problem is found / Happy, if it turns out otherwise
Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
With your presentation i think you should seek for medical attention with a gynobs + internist. It might that you are having pulmonary embolism or heart failure since you are a known hypertensive and now you are pregnant. With all your previous medical conditions it is better you seek medical attention now for your sake and the sake of your unborn child.
As you rightly suggested, given the age of pregnancy, it is possible that as the baby is growing, your diaphragm is being compressed upward and consequently your lungs, so reducing the surface for gas exchange. Normally, nature has regulated all of that, and made it in such a way that this would not happen (but does not cancel the fact that it can happen.
Consult as soon as you can.
Best wishes
