Pregnant. Light Brown Discharge. Detected Chromosome Problem In Fetus Due To Low Hcg Value. No Other Problem. Advice

Hello Doctor, I am 9 weeks pregnant, started getting light brown discharge(very little) from week 8.
hence the dr in UAE did hcg test at week 9. it was 0000, after 2 days it was 0000.
hence it is declining. Dr here telling that fetal has some chromosome problem hence the hcg value is very low.
Please advise me wht to do, shall i terminate the pregnancy then?
Ultra sonic is very fine. heart beat also very good.

Hi,
Thanks for the query.

If the baby condition is good usually you won't get HCG levels as zero.
Though after 9 weeks the levels can decrease to some extent but may not reach zero.
Sometimes false negative beta HCG test results can come due to the masking effect antibodies etc.
So you once repeat the test in some other lab.
You can take HCG injections to increase the levels.
After followup scans you can decide further regarding the continuation of the treatment.
