Pregnant. Taken Duphaston For Abortion. Advice?

Hi i'm 19 years old and 22 weeks pregnant i want to get rid of the baby safly please help i just took 3 pills of duphaston and i'm thinking about suiside because my familly will kill me if they knew please is there any way or any medecine that i can take so that it will stop the baby's heart then i'll get a safe abortion please help i'm devastated

Hello,
You cannot abort the baby by taking Duphaston. Also, at this stage of pregnancy, you need a genuine reason to terminate the pregnancy as law does not permit abortion beyond 20 weeks if you are in India and this limit varies with every country that legalizes abortion. Please discuss with your consultant about ways to bring up the baby and I sincerely advice you to inform your family and they will support you if you can convince them of your situation; they are your best hope in the current circumstances. Committing suicide is not the end to any problem, you have the whole life ahead of you. Think wisely before you act. Take care.
