Pregnant. Trisomy Risk. Should I Terminate Pregnancy?

Hi Doctor Am 32 years old and I had done my double marker test last week during my 11 weeks and 2 days pregnancy. The Trisomy 21 risk with NT shows 1:132 (above cut-off); Trisomy 18 with NT <1:0000; Age Risk 1:631. Please advice what is the action I need to take now. My doctor has advised me to terminate the pregnancy as I am at high risk. Please advice

Thanks for your query.
You are definitely at high risk for Trisomy 21.
before going in for termination, you should confirm the diagnosis by amniocentesis.
If the result is normal, you can definitely go ahead with your pregnancy.
Please see a Genetic Counsellor and proceed with amniocentesis.
