Pregnant Diagnosed With Clavicle Cancer. Starting The Chemotherapy. Is It Safe?
Hi my daughter was just diagnosed with clavicle cancer 3 months ago she was 7 months pregnant at 22 years old she had to have our grandaughter before they could start her treatment, the tumer is the size of an egg on her coller bone, she got her port put in today, and starts her chemo on friday at seattle cancer care, what is she in for as far as how sick is she going to get from the chemo they said it was going to be the strongest chemo they can give?

The chemotherapy would definitely not be safe.
It has many side effects such as suppression of immunity, nausea, loss of hair, general overall sickness, risk of superadded infections etc.
However given the tumour, there is no other way out, apart from taking the chemo.
