Pregnant, Have Cough With Green Sputum, Taken Amoxycillin. Blood Test Showed High ESR, Aneamia, Infection

hi, I'm pregnant about 28 weeks. recently, i got severe cough for past 3/52, no fever, and associated with greenish sputum for past 1/52. the condition was improved after i finished my amoxycillin. FBC was taken about 1 week ago and noted sign of anaemia (low Hb) and infection...surprisingly, my ESR was very high, 120mm/1st hr..can you help me?

Hello
Thanks for your query.
ESR is elevated in lots of conditions.
It is a very non specific test.
You recently had respiratory tract infection, and any acute or chronic condition can elevate the ESR.
Anemia itself in pregnancy is quite a dangerous condition to have.
You need to let me know the exact counts for me to opine further.
Please consult your gynecologist, take adequate iron supplementation and get necessary investigations done for the cause of anemia.
take care
