Dear Sir/Mam, Good afternoon, My query is my wife checked her pregnancy test yesterday ..now report is positive . my wife lost one chance of pregnancy last year she lost 2 month pregnancy. after that I don t want any other abortion again for Heath problem she was phasing last year...Now doctor suggest naturogest 200mg EVERY DAY 2 for 3 month with folic acid for 3 month..Just I want know is safe ..? please answer reply awaited Thanks

Hello,
NATUROGEST is progesterone hormone.It is used for the maintenance of early pregnancy (up to 12th week only) in cases of documented history of repeated miscarriages due to luteal phase defect. In other words there should have been repeated miscarriages in the past and there should be documented luteal phase defect (i.e. progesterone deficiency). 
Your doctor must have detected progesterone deficiency in your wife and that's why it has been given ,since there is past history of repeated miscarriages.
GO ahead with it.
FOLIC ACID helps in protecting fetus from developing neural tube defects.
Carry on with this.
