Pregnant, Taken Cefalexin, Urinary Infection. Dose?
i was prescribed 500mg cefalexin by the midwife. I am 22 weeks pregnant and 17years of age. They arent 100 % if i have a urinary infection until they get my test results back but said that thats what they would treat me for. How often can i take these? i have to take 3 500mg capsules a day. I took one at 9am this morning and was meant to take one at around 3pm this afernoon but forgot so took one at 8pm tonight, Can i take another tonight, maybe before i go to bed which would be about 1am?

thanks for the query
since you already crossed 20 weeks its safe to take cephalexin which is not teratogenic...you need to complete course for 5 days so that infection wont recur due to incomplete treatment...
