hi i am sujitha 26yrs old. I am 5 weeks pregnant now and my thyroid level was 10.4 on june 2013 and it has decreased to 0.01 as per the yesterdays report. In my USG scan single intrauterine gestational sec was seen and others was not seen.

Just wanted to know my pregnancy is confirmed? and my thyroid level may affect my pregnancy or embryo growth?

Hello Sujitha
Thanks for choosing Healthcare Magic.
At 5 weeks, only a gestational sac would be seen.
A yolk sac also should be seen, but it is possible that the ultrasound was done transabdominally and so details were not seen.
I would advise a repeat ultrasound scan after 2 weeks to confirm that the fetus and heartbeat is seen.
Your TSH is well under control, please do not worry about your thyroid levels.
Continue thyroid medication.
All the best.
