Pregnant, Trans Vaginal Ultrasound, Gestational Sac, Fetal Pole, Yolk Sac, No Visible Fetal Heartbeat. Advise?
I am 38 yrs old. Last dec I had my complete abortion and now I am 2 months pregnant but unfortunately last april 21 I had my transvaginal ultrasound and findings that there is one gestational sac with fetal pole but no visible fetal heart beat with CRL 3.6 at 6 weeks and it ultrasound favor for missed abortion but I dont have any bleeding and my cervix is closed. Last May 1 I had my transvaginal ultrasound again Crl 4.2 with yolk sac and fetal pole but still no fetal heart tone and the doctor advise me to wait again after 2 weeks and do transvaginal ultrasound again.according to doctor maybe late development and sac is still small cant detect fetal heart tone. Is there any chances coz all my blood results are normal and no bleeding.
Hi, Thank for your query. CRL at 6wks. Approximately 6-7mm and fetal heart beat visible at 7th weeks. Onward. You can wait for at least 2 more weeks as your doctor suggested because there is no bleeding but CRL length not correspond with fetal growth. You should consult a gynecologist for your problem because you have a previous history of abortion also. Don't worry. Take care.
