Pregnant With Feeling Of Pressure And Dizziness, Have High BP And Anaemic. Is It Normal?
I m currently pregnant with my second child. Yesterday I noticed that I was starting to feel really pressured and dizzy since I suffer of high blood pressure and anemia I thought it was okay but it didn t go away until I fell asleep and woke up feeling relaxed. I looked at my veins to find out that they were blue and sunk in. Why is that? Is it normal or is it serious?
Hi,
According to your symptoms, you could have suffered from a transient disturbance of the blood pressure which may have settled with rest. Dizziness is common even without any other complications in pregnancy. As you are anemic too, it could be more often. The symptoms may get aggravated as pregnancy advances. You should have regular follow-up and monitor your blood pressure regularly. You should also take plenty of fluids and a healthy diet apart from nutritional supplements to improve your general condition. I did not get what you meant by veins-at which location and when. Veins are always blue and in pregnancy, veins over the abdomen and the lower extremities get prominent. Please get further suggestions from your doctor. Take care.
