Good morning Doctor

My wife is missing her perioda for 6 days so we check by preganews and its says positive ..we did that test twice.

we are newly married and at this time we don't want baby.

So can you tell some right way to get rid of this.

Is there any eraly abortion pill.

Or some other easy way.

Thanks for the query.
As both urine pregnancy test kits gave positive results, there is possibility of pregnancy.
So, let your wife consult gynecologist once and get examined.
Then she has to undergo ultrasound.
Ultrasound is needed to,
-Confirm the intrauterine pregnancy
-To estimate the gestational age
-To rule out ectopic pregnancy.
Then with doctor's advice, according to the gestational age you can choose the method of abortion.
Do not take tablets without consulting doctor as that can lead to complications.
Upto 7 to 8 weeks, medical termination of pregnancy with tablets is possible.
