Prescribed Amoxicillin, Clarithromycin, Omeprazol For Helicobacter Pylori In Stool Test. Late Period Due To Medicine?
Hi, Iam 37 years old, recently I 've seen my doctor and she said "they found Helicobacter Pylori in my stool test ", so I had to take amoxicillin one tablet twice a day with clarithromycin two to be taken twise a day and omeprazol two to be taken twice a day for a week then stop taking amoxicillin and clarithromycin but carry on taking omeprazol for another week.Now my question is could those tablets effects on my period to start late? Because I missed my period about 8 days.(my last period was 2nd june)

No, those medications dont directly affect your period. But it lifestyle changes that you've made that have changed it, it could also be due to stress, for most women their period dates change when they are under stress or anxiety for a decent duration of time. So dont worry about it and finish the dosage.
