Hi and namaste,
Echocardiogram is a test done to evaluate the systolic and diastolic filling, and pumping function of the heart.
Diastolic dysfunction indicates abnormality in the filling phase, when the heart is not able to relax completely. Grade I is normally seen as age progresses and is commonly associated with hypertension.
You need not worry about your echo reports, as all are within normal limits.
Grade I LV diastolic dysfunction would not cause any damage to heart unless there are other compounding effects like uncontrolled hypertension or ischemic heart disease or other cardiac valvular disorders.
As your valves are normal, and possibly hypertension is not there or under control, you have been prescribed ecosprin to reduce possibility of ischemic heart disease.
Hope this helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
