Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have 1 son aged 4. I went to the gynae for a check up yesterday as I stopped the pill in March, my period came end March but since have had nothing. the doctor said I have PCOS and have put me on Primulot N 5mg for 30 days and once my periods come on the 3rd day i should take another tablet not sure on name for 5 days.
Is there any adverse side effects of taking Primulot N 5mg ? My weight is normal.
Every medication has its side effects, as every individual responds in a different way. Although side effects are experienced only in minorities, as these drugs would not be released into the market if a majority would experience side effects.
Primolut N is a good medication, let me list some of the most common side effects for you: -Nausea -Vomiting -Visual disturbances -Headaches -Fluid retention -Shortness of breath -Hypersensitivity reactions (eg. rash, itching, etc.) -Breast tenderness and a few other less common ones.
I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications at: http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-shoaib-khan/64581 . I would gladly help you.
Best wishes.
