Prescribed Antibiotics For Otitis Externa. Liquid Behind Ear Drained, Still Having Blockage. How To Clear It?
I have ear blockage on my left side. Was told it was otitis externa and was prescribed antibiotic some time ago. Provided some relief and liquid behind ear drained, but still have blockage. Just had ear flushed and was told that ear looks slight red or irritated which is common with allergies and cold (I have both). Anything I could do to clear my ear blockage. I have been like this for almost 2 months now? Thanks.

Hi your membrane might be broken and then only draining happened. So it will take time for it to restore. If no improvement you might need ENT manipulation of tympanic membrane.Hope this may help you. thanks
