Prescribed Babygesic For Discomfort After First Vaccination. Will It Work In Case Of Pain?
Hi Sir/Madam,
Today we have got the first vaccination for our one month 17th days baby .
Doctor said that the baby might get fever and has given babygesic 100 mg 4 times a day for any discomfort like fever.I have a doubt, will this medicine also work in case of any pain too?

Hello and welcome to HCM forum,
Babygesic is basically Paracetamol ,which is antipyretic (anti fever ) and analgesic (pain reliever ).
The analgesic or pain relieving action is not very strong in Bebygesic so it is not a very good drug of choice for pains .Meftal P syrup (Mefenamic acid ) is a better choice for pain relief and fever .
