Prescribed Clomid, Duphaston. Done Hormone Test. Are They Safe?

Iam 37 yr old and have one six year old son now trying for second issue but being unsuccessful for six months my doc prescribed me Clomid 50mg and Duphaston 10mg. Are these drugs safe and is there chance of getting twins or triplets im worried i just want one more. also Doc have not checked my hormone level son are the prescribed drugs safe, i mean what if i already have app. value of hormones and may be repr. organs must be checked first?

Hello. Clomid and Duphastan are safe and help to conceive. You did not mention your weight here. Glucophage (Metformin) is also helpful in improving fertility. You also need to take full advantage of your fertility days starting from day 12 of your menstrual cycle to day 16. Clomid may increase the chances of multiple births but its not always necessary.
