i am wanting to know if i can see just a family doctor.the problem is i was in a pain clinic for 2 yrs.and the doctor prescribed me oxodone 30 mg for 2 yrs.then he up and all and once left and left with me with withdrawls beyond belief.so i went to a suboxone clinic for a month to help with the withdrawls.i have a really bad back and i dont know what to do.i dont want to go to anothe pain clinic.
Hello, This is always a problem when such type of medications are stopped cold turkey after a prolonged use for many years.Idelly such type of medications are withdrawn slowly. You can try doing it sme now. You can restart your oxodone again with a lesser dose of 35 mg daily and then start withdrawing 5 mg every month. This way your body would adjust to a slightly lower dose every month without creating much problem to you. No doubt,it is going o take few months but you shall be able to come out of withdrawl symptoms easily and without any stress. I hope it helps. Thanks
