Prescribed With Althea For PCOS. Have Pimples. Should I Stop The Medication?

hi ...my doctor prescribed me althea pill for my PCOS im currently on my first pack now..I noticed i have lots of pimples popping out since i took the pill i thought this pill will control my acne problem due to my PCOS but it just make it worst than before taking the pill...Should i stop taking it or should i wait 3 months to shift to another pill.???>..please do help me

Thanks for the query,

Pimples on your face are related to PCOD.

These are not related to drug.

So there is no necessity to stop drug.

pimples can be treated with topical medications.

Please meet a dermatologist.
