Problem Of Dry Mouth, white Tongue And Bitter Taste, burning Throat
Hi, I ve got dry mouth, white tongue and a salty/bitter taste in my mouth. I drink a lot and I brush my teeth regularly (and my tongue). I also sometimes experience mild burning in my throat (just above the little dint ) - but feels like it more affects breathing rather than swallowing; and stronger heart beat. I have a history of bulimia (stopped recently) and smoking (stopped recently). Got pills for heart burn - Salpraz (stopped taking them yesterday). What could it be please? Thank you.

Problem Of Dry Mouth, white Tongue And Bitter Taste, burning Throat
Hi welcome to health care magic forum, Dry mouth, white tongue, salty taste in mouth and burning sensation of throat usually sign of reflux pharyngitis due to GERD or Acid peptic disease. Breathlessness and stronger heart beat may be signs of mental stress. In my opinion just relax and take plenty of water as you do and avoid . Take antireflux agent for a week and so . But if no relief than see an ENT specialist for an indirect laryngoscopic exam to exclude any pathological lesion. In addition You may need a psychiatrist help for a counseling session . regards.
