Prolonged Lymph-node Cervical, Neck TB. On BBF Rcinex. Done Biopsy. Should We Continue With Medication?

I'm very worried about my wife prolonged lymph-node cervical/neck TB. (came to know by FNAC) She was treated first time in 2011 for 9 months. the medicines she had without failure everyday as prescribed by her Doctor. BBF Rcinex 600 and pantop 40, ABF Combutal 1g and Pyninamide. what happened was... at the end of 9 months medication the lymph node still not dissolving or vanishing. We went to once ENT specialist. Who advised to remove the node completly. We did that and he said the lymph node gone, disease is gone. On his advice she discontinued the dosage. Unfortunately, on 22 Aug 2012, once again she diagnosed with Lymph-node TB but this time on the left side of the neck. just above the collar bone same as last time only difference was first time it was on right side of the neck. I was afraid when doctor said it might be MDR TB. We continued with same medicine which as as above also while med ongoing we did biopsy at AIIMS. It is such a relieve to know that the drugs she is having is sensitive to her disease. If everything goes well, she will be all OK by the 22nd Sep 2013. I know we have to think positive about it. My only concern is will she completely all right. The medicines she is having now are BBF Macox plus 600 and pantop 40, ABF combutal, also she had Pyzina for 5 months. last whole month she had clarimin. Also she did Ultra sound, Chest X ray, Urine test, Blood test, including recent liver test to check if it is harmed because of too much intake of medicine, We also did HIV test. All test are Negative. Can you please help by confirming will she be all ok, does she need to do or take some other medicine. I hate it coming back. Please Help.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi ! The anti tubercular drugs are very good now a days, and complete recovery is possible if he medicines are taken punctually and regularly. If it would have been an MDR tuberculosis, then it might not have responded to the present drugs. The reason for recurrence after complete recovery could be due to re infection from any other source. Now a days tuberculosis is very common, and it is difficult to know if any of our social contacts have got the infection or not. As all the other tests for your wife are negative, you can hope for a complete recovery, By the way, I hope a blood sugar test must have been done for her. If not, then please get it done.
Wishing her an early and permanent recovery.
