Provide The Time Duration Of Survival For An Elderly Person On Dialysis
My 89 year old father just had a triple bypass and valve replacement. He lost kidney function after the surgery. They are now wanting him to go to a long term acute center, I m guessing because his heart rate registers low in the upper 40 s to mid 50 s. how long can I expect him to last on dialysis

Probably he may be suffering from low hear rate with hypotension which may lead to decreased perfusion of the kidney lead to renal failure.
So he may need pacemaker implantation along with dialysis if it is chronic kidney disease. If it is acute kidney injury it may recover slowly.
