Pus-filled Boil On Buttocks, White Vaginal Discharge, Abdominal Pain, Back Pain, Pregnant. Advice?
Hi.hope you are good.i am 25 years of age with almost starting with 20th week of pregnancy.3 days ago i had a boil on my left buttock which inflamed and infected with pus after a day.now the pus is gone and its returning to normal.Also, over a week ago i started to have some discharge whitish in color from vagina and with that i started to have a lower abdomen pain towards left side and inflammation around vagina.I also sometimes suffer from backache now a days and irritation while urinating.please i am worried that if every thing is alright.i got my urine RE test on advice of doctor and the results were 10-12 Pus cells/HPF. Please advice.

The boil which was there is a superficial skin infection.
Usually without treatment also they come down but sometimes a subclinical infection may be there.
You don't have to worry about the discharge also as long as there is no bleeding. This in normal in mid trimester.
But abdominal pain and inflammation around vagina are matter of concern.
As the urine test shows pus cells you can take a course of antibiotic after consulting your obstetrician..
Take plenty of fluids and maintain hygiene.

We have two problems to discuss in you.
1. The boil on your left buttock. This is probably a subcutaneous infection (transmitted through using public toilets). It was a mild one and resolved by itself.
2. Your vaginal discharge and inflammation with associated pus cells in urine and pain in abdomen could be due to infection relating to incomplete bladder emptying and/ or using public toilets. Consultation and treatment by your gynecologist is necessary. Please drink lots of water and visit wash room regularly. Avoid using public toilets, as mentioned above. Wear cotton inner clothes to avoid moisture formation in your genital area.
