Pustals On Face, Arms, Legs After Being On Boat In Lake. Bug Bites Or Chicken Pox?
My granddaughters were out on a boat on lake Erie at night, the next day they were covered with pustuals on their face, arms, legs. They appeared worse on one child, lesser on the other, and just a few on the third child. We thought they might be bug bites, but we have never seen bites like this. Could they be chicken pox even though they have had their shots?
Hi, It seems that your grand daughter might have bug bites. As these are on exposed part of body like face, arms and legs indicating towards bug bites. These lesions found in others child as well. In chicken pox there is h/o having fever and it appears on whole body. Give her antihistamine like Benadryl or Cetrizine for 1-2 days. Consult your doctor and get physically examined. Ok and take care.
