Rapid Resting Heart Rate, Abdominal Pulse And Dizziness. Should I Meet Doctor?
Hi, I woke up today with a rapid resting heart rate (mine is usually around 60 bpm and today it's like 98-100). It feels like it is pounding and I also have a strong visible abdominal pulse. Whenever I walk I get incredibly nauseous and dizzy, but I don't have any abdominal pain. What could be causing this and do I need to see a doctor?
Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum. It appears to be a sinus tachy cardia, If it is initiated by anxiety, tension, etc. I advise you to consult a cardiologist for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have E.C.G. for confirmation. Other cause may be the gastric hyper acidity. When there is no pain, it presents like this, and secondary to it the heart rate may increase, and comes down if you take water or some bland food. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.
