Rash On Face, Burning Sensation On Lower Body. Ate Large Quantity Of Tomatoes. Cause Of Rash?

I have recently noticed a rash on my face and also a burning sensation on my lower body which I know is not a bladder infection because it is on the outside of the body. I have been eating a huge amount of fresh garden tomatoes lately and am wondering if the acid in the tomatoes could be causing my problems. It's is the only thing I can pinpoint that may be causing the red rash on my face and also on my bottom. Please let me know is this is possibly the cause.
