Reappearing Hard Skin, Coming Out As Scales, Itching In Toes. History Of Trying On Footwear In The Shop. Temporary Relief With Lobate Skin Cream. Infection?
Hi doctor .. in my right leg 2nd and 3rd finger .. i often get itching and after that skin becomes hard and comes off as scales. This all started when i trialled few slippers in a footwear shop. I think i got infected from some slipper.. i consulted a dermatologist.. she prescribed lobate skin cream. It temporarily works.. then it reapears.. need your adive on this. Thanks
This is a very common phenomena that happens to many of us. First it started as dermatitis due to any allergy or contact to any hard surface. The skin in the area becomes hyperkeratosis. (Thick scaly skin). Dermatologist has prescribed topical steroid cream. It will help to smooth the skin. But the ultimate thing to identify and provide the cause for the problem.
