Reason For Burning Pain Around Left Side With Soreness In Skin Around The Area

hi im 48 year female an with the past few day i have being experecing a burning pain around my left side . my skin around the area is sore to the toutch an its very uncomerfortable to lye down on my side .also it travels to my tummy at times an lower back ... can u help please ??

The burning sensation in your body may be caused by any disease which interferes with the blood and nerve supply. Although many medical conditions can cause burning , Diabetes is the most common cause leading to nerve damage that is neuropathy.
Do you smoke and take alcohol because there consumption may lead to burning sensation .
Beside diabetes other common causes are-
Chronic kidney disease (uraemia)
Vitamin deficiency (vitamin B12 and occasionally vitamin B6)
Alcohol abuse
Low thyroid hormone levels
Vasculitis (inflammation of blood vessels)

My advice for you would be get following blood test done to find out the cause -
Fasting and after meal(pp) blood sugar test, Urine routine and microscopic test, Thyroid profile, Level of vitamin B12,Blood urea and serum creatinine level. Beside these blood test you need a physical examination so it is my advice to visit a local doctor.
