Reason For Having Blood Shot Eyes With Irritation In Inner Corner When Contacts Removed?
I noticed my eye was blood shot in the inner corner of the left eye upon leaving the supermarket today around 3pm. It was not red before going in. I used some clear eyes drops and the redness went away. I just looked at my eyes again about 3 hours later and now both the left and right eye are blood shot but only in the inner corner. I wear contacts but have had them out for 2 days and have been wearing my glasses. What could this be? The left inner corner does feel a bit irritated when I blink but otherwise no pain or discomfort.
Two things are probability. Itcan be angular cojunctivitis allergic iin nature. Or developing sensitivity to contact lense with dry eye. Recomanded levocetrizine tablet once daily. Use cromal eye drop 3 times daily. Use refresh tear eyedrop twice daily. both problems will be taken care of.
Hello It seems from the history that you are having irritation and redness of the eyes after wearing contact lenses. These symptoms can be because of infection related to contact lens usage. Hence stop using contact lenses till the redness is cured. You need to use antibiotic eye drops. If the redness is increasing with pain and blurring of vision which indicates corneal involvement you needs to consult your eye doctor as these indicate corneal involvement.
Thank you
