Reason For Itching, Burning And Weird Feeling In The Scalp?
Hi Dr. Grief, I have been experiencing itchy, burning and sometimes a wird feeling in my scalp. I am bipolar and have taken in the past, mirtazepam, clonazepam, l-methylfolate, abilify and lamictal. Now, my doctor has put me on depacote, mirtazepam and clonazepam. I cannot wash or comb my hair because of this problem. What could it be?

See itching scalp with weird feeling can be due to dandruff itself or can be related to the bipolar illness you are suffering from.
Usually in such conditions, i prefer to prescribe a shampoo containing ketoconazole to be used on alternate day basis regularly
U can also start using such shampoo under your doctor s supervision.
