Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

Most important cause could be allergy. But a physical examination is required to arrive at a diagnosis. It is very difficult to comment without a physical examination. If it is skin allergy first the allergen has to be identified if possible. Most of the times it is very difficult to identify the allergen. Antihistaminics may be prescribed by your doctor after confirming the diagnosis. Some times soothing creams may be of some benefit.

Hope this helps.
Take care.
