My son is six years old and yesterday he came home with high temperature 101. he vomited once, he said he had a headache and this morning he has sore throat. I gave him Motrin and chloraseptic. This is his first time with sore throat and should i be worried.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sore throat which seems to be due to upper respiratory tract infection which is caused by viral/ bacterial microorganism. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should go for throat swab test and get blood tests done and start treatment after proper diagnosis. Avoid intake of outside food. Avoid spicy and salty food substances. You should do warm saline gargles. You should take steam inhalation. You should take antiallergic medication such as Levocetirizine. Take proper course of antibiotic along with mucolytic agents.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
