Recommend Pain Relievers That Do Not Cause Drowsiness And Is Roxicodone A Good Option?
Hi....what non opiod pain relievers would you recommend that do not cause dizziness or drowsiness? Or.....what opiod pain relievers would you recommend that do not cause dizziness or drowsiness? How about Roxicodone without acetaminophen? I have chronic pain from a sinus surgery
All opioids have the potential to cause dizziness and drowsiness, it is a common side effect of this type of medication.
If you wish to avoid these effects, you would need to use a non opioid pain killer such as those in the NSAID family of drugs.
Some of these medications include celebrex, arcoxia, naproxen, ibuprofen, cataflam, aspirin.
It is also possible to combine 2 families of drugs so that you can use lower doses of the medications. There should be decreased side effects if the doses are lower.
I hope this helps
