Recurred Swollen Upper Eyelid With Painful Abscess On Eyebrow. Help With Warm Compress. On Augmentin. Suggest

I have a painful lump possibly abscess that 1st started on eyebrow and following day upper eyelid swollen and painful. I started warm compresses and following day saw improvement although still painful swelling decreased to point hardly could tell eye was swollen. That night more compresses and erythromycin over eyelid but this morning appears upper eyelid more swollen and still painful lump at level of eyebrow. Started taking augmentin

Hello,
It seems from the history that you are having abscess on the upper eye brow.
The treatment you are taking is right and you can continue it. But the best treatment for abscess is drainage of the pus which provides faster relief and cure.
So even with treatment if the abscess is not responding please do consult your eye doctor for treatment of the abscess by drainage.
