Recurrent Head Injuries, Suddenly Do Not Remember Anything Until 3-4 Days. Should I Consult Neurologist ?
I received 4 head injuries before the age of 18. First my Grandfather hit me in the head and face witrh a molk can hew was putting on the shelf. He knocked me against a concrete wall and I slid down into a water trough cracking the back of my head against the concrete edge. I believe I was out for few seconds. Next I ran down the stairs missing the last coup[le of steps and hit head first against a concrete floor. These were both before the age of 6. AT sixteen I fell from the back of a pickup and landed ion the shoulder of the road wich considted of pit-run rocks. I supposedly awoke fairly soon but I do not remember anything until several hours after the accident. I was in the hospital but I thought I had a motorcycle accident. Then at 17 I had a car accident where I was thrown form the car. I came to in about 36 hrs. However, I do not remember anything until 3 or 4 days later. Should I consult a neurologist and have regular exams? Thanks,

Recurrent Head Injuries, Suddenly Do Not Remember Anything Until 3-4 Days. Should I Consult Neurologist ?
Hi, Thanks for writing in. I suggest you get a consultation with your neurologist and also have a CT scan of brain done to confirm that there is no old brain injury. From what you say, it looks like there is no serious brain injury, but you have to confirm that. Hope this helps.
