Recurring Bug Bites, Itchy, No Fever

I have what appear to be bug bites showing up periodically over the past 5 days. I got chiggers approximately 2 1/2 weeks ago. These started a week after I got the chiggers. They keep appearing everywhere. They look like bites, but I can t tell. They itch at first and then by the next day they don t itch anymore but still remain. More and more everyday. My health seems fine. I m a runner and workout often. No fever or any indication that I m sick.
