Recurring Cyst Inside Clitoris, Use Sits Baths With Epsom Salt, Medicines. Cause Of Recurrence?
I ve suffered with a recurring cyst inside my clitoris for years. The first few times I was put on antibiotics and did sits baths with Epsom salt. Recently I ve been getting 1 a year and treating it myself with baths, hydrogen peroxide & neosporin . Why does this keep happening? What else can I do to prevent them from returning? It s extremely painful and uncomfortable when it occurs and when it bursts it s clearly filled with infection/blood.
Hi there. I note with interest the site of your cyst. It is not an uncommon site but rarer than the other cystic inflammations in the region. I suggest that the only clear & effective means of getting rid of the issue is by 'surgical excision' of the cyst. This however will have to be done by a plastic surgeon or a surgeon well versed in the anatomy of the area as the clitoris will probably be more precious to you in the years to come depending on your current age (that you have not stated). Antibiotics & Anti-inflammatory agents started early in the course of events may be more useful than at a later date. I suggest metronidazole 500mg three times daily & ibuprofen 400 or 600 mg depending on your body weight in a similar dosing both after meals with plenty of hydration. Hope this information suffices & the issue is resorted once & for all. Cheers!
