Hiya I have a red lump on the left side of my throat not really causing pain im really worried as to what it could be its npt my tonsils I suffer from throat infection and its not simular atall its very clear to see at the back by the hole of the throat
Hello, As your tonsil is normal, it could due to enlarged lymph nodes. The lymph nodes draining the throat lies in neck and throat region. In throat infection, these lymph nodes are usually enlarged. Thus you need physical examination and antibiotics may be necessary. Once the infection is cleared, these lymph nodes will decrease in size.
