Red Spot On Penis, Blotchy. Is It Satellite Pigmented Lesion Caused By Malignancy Of The Mole?
Hey I have a reddish/brown blotchy spot above my penis in the pubic area about the size of the end of an eraser on a pencil. I am concerned because I have also noticed a change in the colour and shape of the mole above my penis that I've had since birth. Could this other blotch be a satellite pigmented lesion caused by malignancy of the mole or do you think it could be an STI? Or something else?
I believe that a change in the color and shape or size of a mole in any region is concerning and needs to be examined pathologically. You might have to get an excision biopsy of the lesion as it does not seem to be very big in size. It can be done by your local doctor or a surgeon. I hope you do not delay this. If you want to get screened for STIs in addition you may do so at your own discretion or after relating your sexual history to the doctor. I hope this helps.
Take care and have a lovely day!
