Red Spots On Body. How To Hasten Recovery?

hi, i am a 61 year old that woke up this morning with what appears to be chicken pox , the red spots started to appear yesterday afternoon. this morning i am covered in them, how long is an isolation period and what can i take to hasten recovery? my 86 year old mother in law lives with and i am now concerned for her as well as she is not in good health.

Hi.chickenpox also called as verricella .it is a viral infection caused by pox virus.it presents as vesicles on the erythematous background over tha beck then abdomen .last on the face ie centripetal distributation.patient should be isolated for 72 hours as the virus will be in infective stage at that time.it can be cured by antiviral acyclovir 200 mg five times daily.antibiotic.antihistamine and apply calamine lotion over the lesions to decrease itching
