Red Spots Popping Up On My Body

A few days ago I was in New Zealand in Auckland and the morning on the day that I flew back here to Australia, I found like 2 red spots on my body. They were a little itchy at first but it stopped itching like shorty later, after I stopped scratching it. While I was there in NZ, I didn't go into any bushes or any places similar. When I got back, I noticed a few more spots the following day and I'm still getting more. About half of them actually have small bubbles of clear liquid in them and when popped they just scab. Also this morning I found about 15 more rashe spots on my left arm. Like all the other red spots, it itches at first but it stops itching after (long as I just don't touch it). I'm not getting any other symptoms - I've no headache, not feeling ill or anything like that. However I did notice one of the earlier spots start to become slightly smaller and don't itch anymore, even if I scatch it. At the moment, my left arm around the middle and the wrist to have the most with around approx 25. I've 3 on my right arm, a few small ones around the front of my neck, a couple around my right lower waist, a couple around my belly and one under my left foot. What could this be??

I was seeing a similar description in the Discovery Channel a few weeks ago.The problem there was caused by some nimulids or nimutids as they called that had infected the skin. However, that show was about contracting strange infections in Borneo and not New Zealand. This was caused by cycling in swampy areas that cause this infection.Your particular case may be different but have you been in some lake or swamp area inNew Zealand ? Does not look like miseales as you do not have fever. you can check with the doctor if you wish you to by clicking on the link on the right.

Nope I was in Auckland for the entire 5 days there - basically all city and suburban so I had very little contact with nature. On a brighter note, I haven't noticed any new spots today and the spots that got smaller that I mentioned before seems to have gotten smaller due to the fact that I used some anti-irritation and itching lotion. I've also been to the doctor on Saturday, the results will be available tomorrow.
