Reddish Spots Clustered In Middle Of Stomach, Breast And Shoulder, Irritating While Touching. Should I Meet A Doctor?

Hello, I have had some reddish/pink spots on my stomach for about a year or so now. I am now noticing more spots on my stomach, (all of which are clustered in the middle of my stomach, above the belly button) breast, and shoulder. These spots do not hurt or itch. Although, when I shower or touch them they irritate a little. Should I go to the doctor's office?

From your description, it seems to me that you may be having cherry angiomas. They are small collections of blood vessels which usually occur on the trunk. Please check for pictures in the net and see if they appear similar. If not, please consult your doctor who could have a look for better diagnosis.

Thanks for the query.

You might have developed hemangiomas.

These are dialated blood vessels.

They are asymptomatic and mainly cause cosmetic problem.

These spots can be very well treated by LASERS.

Please meet a dermatologist and discuss regarding this.

Hello,

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to Healthcare Magic.

After reading your query it appears the possibility of "cherry angiomas".

These are formed due to abnormal proliferation of blood vessels. But you have to understand that this is not a problematic state in any case. these are quite common in persons above 50 years of age. These do not cause any problem in any time of the life and never ever turn into any thing serious.
At the maximum if you are really worried then for cosmetic reasons we can do electrocautery of these things.
