Redness In Throat, Difficulty Swallowing, White Spots, Have Cough, Diagnosed With Ankylosing Spondylitis. Are They Related?

I have had a red veiny throat for over a month. It s not really that painful but when a swallow its not smooth as normal and occasionally I have felt like there is food stuck in my throat. There are pale white spots on the back sides of my throat tucked behind my tonsils. Occasional other pale white spots on the back of the throat. Often my neck feels uncomfortable around my Adam s apple. After eating food I often cough a little but not excessively (like one every 30 secs) for about 10-15 mins or so. No bleeding or extreme pain. No weight loss, appetite is fine. Some nausea, tiredness and strange winded like feeling moving down my throat/windpipe(?). I have recently been diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis but my rheumatologist doesn t think it s related.
