Redness On Glans Of Penis, No Ulcer, Pain From Rotator Cuff. Applied Moisturizing Cream. What Else Can Be Done?
Three days ago when drying off after a shower I noticed a red spot on the ridge on the glans of my penis. I am not circumcised and keep myself very clean. The spot is smooth, not raised or open....no ulcer....no pain.....no itching...no drainage...just a smooth red spot right on the corona(I think that's the right word)....the ridge of my glans near where it attaches to the shaft. For about two weeks prior I had started applying a new moisturizing cream to my face and genitals after showering. Also of note, I have started taking Norco for pain from a rotator cuff injury. I haven't had any sexual contact in several weeks. What are your thoughts?
you need to see a dermatologist who will guide you properly. meanwhile stop applying any cream on your genitals and use a very mild soap to clean your genital area. Till you see a doctor avoid any sexual contact and if you do than it would be advisable to use a condom.
wishing you a speedy recovery regards Dr. Gaurav
