Regular Periods, Got Late, Abdominal Pressure, Had An Ovarian Cyst. Reason?

I am almost three weeks late for my period and I am always very regular. I am 31 years old and have taken 8 pregnancy tests that were all negative. Today I am feeling pressure which seems to be in my abdomen. I am very stressed about being pregnant. I have had an ovary cyst a few years back but i still had a period. Could you please tell me what can be causing this?

Hi,
If you are stressed due to possibility of pregnancy,in spite of doing pregnancy tests 8 times,please know following things-
- urine pregnancy test can be +ve after minimum 10 days over due.
-If one of the tests was in the specified period,you need not worry.
Causes for irregular period,if not pregnancy ,in your case is likely to be due to ovarian cyst.
-You can go for USG to know the progress/regress of ovarian cyst.It will also confirm absence of pregnancy.as well as any other responsible things like PCOD.for delayed periods.
- With a Gynecologost's consultation ,you can get the problem solved according to the findings of investigations.
