Renal Failure, Shrunk Kidneys. How Long Before Dialysis?

I am a female 4o years. i habe been chronic kidney failure. Both my skings are affected and skrinking. I was told that my right kidney as skrunk completed and not fuction. My left kidney is also skrinking. I am stage for renal failure , my GFR is 18, i am on blood presuure medication , medication for low red blood count, medication for gout , medication for low iron level. How long will it be before i go on dailysis

Sorry to see that you are in end=stage renal failure.
You will need dialysis until you get a kidney transplant - there seems to be no alternative, under the circumstances.
Your doctor - Nephrologist/Urologist - will decide based on GFR, Urea, creatinine, electrolytes and so on
